Big Big Storm Promos

In the spring of 2017 Amy Lee Connell and I began devising an adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest for production at that summer’s FringePVD. Our short piece–Big Big Storm–told the story through the characters of a single parent trying to give their only child a bath before leaving on a date, and the child, hesitant to let go. Connell and I prepared our own interpretations of both characters, with the intention of switching from night to night.

Though logistical issues kept the project from completion, I produced a full set of promotional images for Big Big Storm, which tease at our kinetic (and splashy!) interpretation, as well as the alternating cast.
