In 2011, Southern RI’s Contemporary Theater Company produced Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind. Developed by the Chicago-based Neofuturists, a production of TML is a race against the clock–with actors attempting to perform 30 short plays, in an order chosen by the audience, in 60 minutes or less. The plays offered are selected from a repertoire of hundreds written by the troupe over several years, and change every night.
My design embraces the unorthodox conceit (and title!) with a rainbow of good-natured warmth and fun.
Note: in compliance with the licensing agreement made with the Neofuturists, the poster which went to print included additional copy attributing them as the original creators. This copy has been omitted here, for clarity.
